For bathing wounds : pop a tablespoon of salts into half a cup of hot water - let the salts melt and the water cool to a warm temperature, soak some cotton wool pads into the mixture and soak the infected area atleast twice a day.
the salts will draw out any toxins and clean wounds whilst the oat flour acts as a barrier to allow the skin to start healing. 
 
For Larger dogs, 3 table spoons into a sink or washing up bowl and then let them stand with one foot in at a time, if its a gland problem see if they are able to sit in the bath with the mixture in, or bathe with a flannel- keep a seperate clean bowl of water near to rinse the cloth regularly.
